# Issued Certificates

Certificates are automatically generated and delivered to users **via email** when they reach specific milestones or complete key actions in their trading journey.

Each certificate issued through one of the events above is delivered as a `.png` image attachment in a congratulatory email.

## Automatic Issuance Triggers

Certificates are automatically generated and sent when any of the following event occur:

* **Account Created** - A certificate is generated and sent via email when a new trading account is successfully created.
* **Account Upgraded** - A certificate is issued and emailed upon a successful level upgrade. This includes:
  * Manual upgrades triggered by the user (e.g., pressing the upgrade button).
  * Automatic upgrades based on active equity.
  * Approved upgrades that were under review.
* **Payout Approved** - A certificate is generated and sent when a payout is officially approved.

**Exclusions**

Certificates will not be sent for upgrades performed manually by an admin or automatic reset account triggered as part of payout approval.

## Certificate Storage & Expiry

Once generated, each certificate is stored as an image file in our system. Stored certificate images are automatically deleted after **48 hours**.

**Date Format**

All certificates will display dates in the format: `Month DD, YYYY` (e.g., "October 22, 2024").
